Hi, I'm Jared — a software engineer focused on AI/ML, full-stack development, and systems programming.

I've built production features at WeGive (integrating Meilisearch and building an AI helpbot with MCP), developed e-commerce platforms at Jannuzzi Consulting, and serve as an Instructional Student Aid for CS courses at Cal Poly SLO.

Finishing my B.S. in Computer Science (minor in Accounting) at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, graduating June 2026.

Attention Tracker

Senior project — a computer vision pipeline that classifies focused vs. distracted states from 10-second video clips. MediaPipe extracts 478 facial landmarks per frame at 3 fps; from these I engineer per-frame Eye Aspect Ratio (EAR) and eye-center coordinates, then compare four architectures on the same dataset using 5-fold stratified cross-validation.

Applications: driver drowsiness detection, student engagement analysis, HCI research.
